Hi! So I'm Becca, the assistant innkeeper and baker for the Star of Texas Bed & Breakfast. Now that we have taken things up a notch
here at the B&B, with overhauling some of our rooms and making our
packages more special with fresh homemade goodies, I've decided to start
blogging so I can keep y'all up to date with what's going on in the
kitchen! You may ask "Why do I need to know what's going on in the
kitchen?". Well, let me tell you... There's a lot going on, that's why! From
baking warm crusty artisan bread, to creating sugary confections for
those coming to say their "I do's".
With that being
said, I think the best place to start my blogging affair is with cake! I
love cake. I think most people do. You know what I love more than
baking cakes? Decorating cakes! I don't draw or sculpt or paint very
well... But I sure do like to decorate! I think it is an art in
itself. So, when you come to the Star of Texas B&B to
elope, you
can expect a work of art made especially for you. Mmmm mmm mm. Too bad
we can't frame it!
